With a guest appearance on Aquabumps, Juzzy saw this as a good experience to drum up some new business for his pal Scott from Waxa Surfboards and organised a little shoot. Justin just received a few T’s from the designs he did for Fuel TV. The concept coming from the clever boys at Rodrigues and produced by Quiksilver. We’re definitely all shredding radical this winter.

Knack photographer Chris Scott shot the launch party for Fuel Vfx new building last week. If you thought their last premises were hot (directly next door) then this place will blow you away. Sizzle Festival Director Cap’n Sizzle was caught by Knack Studios photographer Chris Scott practicing for the Soft On somewhere on the mid North Coast over the long weekend. After softly walking the plank for an hour or so he got spit roast roger’ed camp side. Ahoy Maties!

Defining the essence of Australia’s skateboard culture, TIC TACO: A photographic exhibition by Justin Barnwell from Knack Studios, officially kick-started a week of skateboard mayhem at Beach Burrito, Bondi Beach, on Wednesday 17th February, 2010. Celebrating Bowl-A-Rama (the Southern Hemispheres most premier and publicized skateboard competition) TIC TACO documents five years of gritty passion and tenacity in thirty photographs, as the worlds greatest professional and amateur skateboarders, their devote followers, and some truly colorful crowds, partake in the annual pilgrimage to Sydney’s Bondi Beach in search of the ultimate week of skateboard heaven.

Knack studios was torn this year when Bowl-a-rama and Playground weekender landed on the same weekend. Straws were picked and to tell the truth there were no short straws, only good times. Chris Scott was the man chosen for the Playground Weekender Gig. Shooting for Rolling Stone on a mission to capture the vibe of the festival which is rumored to be the best festival Sydney has to offer. 5dmarkII in one hand, a coopers in the other and a smile from ear to ear was how this cat rolled.
