In partnership with Optus, we present the second in a three part Lost At E Minor video series produced by Knack Studios. In the series we showcase some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. We follow them through a typical day in their life, capturing magical moments of artistic expression and getting an inside perspective on what inspires and motivates them. Episode Two features Sydney-based textile artist, Victoria Garcia, who creates world-class artwork featuring vibrant colours and bold patterns. She makes her digital textile print designs for both local and international clients, including Ginger and Smart, Peter Alexander, Lisa Ho, Marnie Skillings and Karen Walker. In 2011, she was awarded the Sir William Dobell Foundation Award for Drawing for the multi-disciplinary installation ‘SURROCODELIA’.

We recently created this video for Aquabumps to promote and showcase Eugene’s new book ‘The Beach Blog’ – Telling the story of how and why it came together and showing off some of the detailing of the book such as the lenticular printing on the cover, the matt black finish and hard cover slip that the book fits neatly into. You really should get yourself a copy as it is a beautiful book and we hope this video helps show it off.
Knack studios created 4 films to document the Havaianas collaboration with beach photography institution Aquabumps.
The featured print on the Havaianas pair by Aquabumps ‘The Caribbean Look’ captures a busy summer’s day, on Australia’s iconic Bondi Beach. A tribute to our picture-perfect coast, it details bathers dotted along Bondi’s sandy shores and crustal blue water. To showcase how this shot was created we followed photographer Eugene Tan up above the iconic Sydney coastline and showcase how he photographs the beaches from above.
The story behind the collaboration was executed in 4 videos and shared across multi digital platforms including Youtube, Facebook and Instagram.

The 2nd Video for the brand titles ‘Unleash the athlete within, focuses on the technical capabilities of the products and how this exciting new fitness brand inspires and empowers women to live a fit and active lifestyle.

Here is the latest film Justin & Rob from Knack Studios completed for Aquabumps and Telstra. ‘From the Road’ documents a trip along the iconic Great Ocean Road with professional surfers Chris Friend and Todd Rosewall. In the film we discover how Eugene Tan from Aquabumps uses the Telstra products to discover the waves, and update his amazing photographs.

Filming for the Nike Block Surf Series last year in France and Spain, we filmed this segment with one of the locals from the Sopelana Surf Club, Txaber Gaminde. Txaber was such a cool guy and took us over to his local in Algorta, which just happened to be one of the raddest skate parks we've seen. Unfortunately the skate section didnt see the light of the day in the clips, with Nike only wanting to feature surfing in the final clips… So with the project wrapped up, it was a shame to leave this on the editing room floor! Enjoy, and go visit…. Such an awesome part of the world!
Knack recently created this teaser video for Australian band The Delta Riggs‘ new album HEX.LOVER.KILLER . Due out on April 12. The new album was recorded at Grove Studios and Knack tagged along to get an inside look at how these talented musicians work.
