Roll In for Vans BOWL-A-RAMA

Over the week of Vans BOWL-A-RAMA Knack has been creating the Roll In series for Frontside Events, the brains behind BOWL-A-RAMA and presented by Surf Dive & Ski. It was a HUGE week with a video being pumped out EVERYDAY. Roll In is your daily dose of the 2012 Vans Bowl-a-Rama Bondi. Each day leading up to the iconic bowl contest Roll In will deliver a fresh update from the festival of skateboarding; the free sessions, the parties and the people. All though not getting much sleep this week, we loved every minute of it. Check out the episodes below… Or watch them on Fuel TV!

Once again, the Surf Dive n Ski Broken Bones demo transplants the cream of the Vans Bowl-a-Rama skaters from the beachside bowl in Bondi to a mini ramp across the bridge! This year Corbin Harris was joined by Aussies Jack Fardell and Shane Azar, and Internationals Sky Siljeg, Curren Caples and Juergen Horrwarth.

Now in it’s 3rd year, Tic Taco brings to you another selection of skateboard photographs by local Bondi photographer Justin Barnwell. Throw in some frozen margaritas, a few beers, some sloppy taco’s and it’s a party. This year the show consists of photographs documenting BOWL-A-RAMA past events as well as special guests at the Bondi Bowl dating back to 2006. With photographs of skating superstars Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero & Shaun White as well as the always amazing talent at BOWL-A-RAMA!

Otis Carey in ‘A Day in Bondi with a Cobba Dingo’

The short film series gets an insight into sideways standing personalities. We let them speak their mind, follow them round and watch them shred. Its a one day shoot and insight into their life.

We chin wag with this cobba dingo about moving to Bondi from sleepy Coffs Harbour, being a young dad, what makes him tick and general life pondering thoughts. Otis is a unique character and does things his own way.

“I don’t think anyone knows what their purpose is in life, I’m already a happy man. The fact i have a son makes me happy. Every night i go to bed happy. I’m never really grumpy or anything. Whats the point of being grumpy?”
