Its that time again folks! Save the date! This year Tic Taco brings to you a group art show of grand scale with illustrators, fine artists, street artists and photographers all submitting work under the ‘Exploration of Australian Skateboarding’ title. It’s going to be MASSIVE.

Knack Studios worked with Mere shoes to create a brand video and look book photo shoot for this exciting up-coming shoe brand. The Spring/Summer collection by designer James Noakes has been taken from the theme ‘Across the Grain’ Its country meet, chic and was filmed and Photographed on the south coast of NSW. mmm smell the leather.

Now in it’s 3rd year, Tic Taco brings to you another selection of skateboard photographs by Knack Studios photographer Justin Barnwell. Throw in some frozen margaritas, a few beers, some sloppy taco’s and it’s a party. This year the show consisted of photographs documenting the Vans BOWL-A-RAMA past events as well as special guests at the Bondi Bowl dating back to 2006. With photographs of skating superstars Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero & Shaun White as well as the always amazing talent at Vans BOWL-A-RAMA the B&W photographs were all printed on archival art paper. mmm nice. In April 2011 Justin & Rob from Knack Studios went to Bali on a Roxy Shoot with Photographers Dane Peterson & Ryan Heywood. Justin working as an Art Director on the shoot and all design elements to be produced from the Campaign & working in a 2 man team with Cinematographer Rob Norman to create the HS2011 Hype Reel. Knack recently created the “Home is where the hearts is’ Campaign for Roxy. From producing the idea, art direction, design and artwork, it was a super fun project to work on. Check out their website for details on how to win the ultimate trip to California, the home of ROXY.

Justin just received a few T’s from the designs he did for Fuel TV. The concept coming from the clever boys at Rodrigues and produced by Quiksilver. We’re definitely all shredding radical this winter.
