Wow, 2013 was yet again another big year for the guys at Knack Studios. We were grateful to work on some amazing projects with fantastic brands in some killer locations. Our latest showreel showcases the work. Highlights include the Peroni Films showcasing beach lifestyle in both Italy and Australia in collaboration with Aquabumps, the ‘Nike Block Series’ filmed through France and Spain, projects with professional skateboarder and TV host Corbin Harris, Australian professional skier Russ Henshaw and a sneaky glimpse or pro surfer Taj Burrow at Bondi, Optus & Lost at E Minor series titled ‘My Creative World’, Miss Australia – Erin Holland for Vie Active, The Delta Riggs working on a new album, Chipiron Surfboards promo film, Land Rover surf trip to the Quiksilver pro with Aquabumps and MANY MORE…..
Knack recently created this teaser video for Australian band The Delta Riggs‘ new album HEX.LOVER.KILLER . Due out on April 12. The new album was recorded at Grove Studios and Knack tagged along to get an inside look at how these talented musicians work.
Working with Aquabumps again, this time in collaboration with Peroni we set off to Italy to capture the summer, the beaches and the waves of the Mediterranean… Yep thats right, waves in the med! Aquabumps joined forces with Peroni to produce a series of short films that will take you to a place that we all want to be whilst hiding in our office cubicles – the beach.

Knack recently created a 15 second Cinema Ad for Beach Burrito’s Cronulla Store. 6 burritos, 12 coronas, a couple of cheaky frozen margaritas and 7 sachets of chilli sauce later here it is… Mucha Gracias.
Knack recently shot a behind the scenes video of a fashion shoot for the new magazine titled This + That. Shot by the very talented Richard Freeman and brought together by the guys at Surfstitch and Rolling Youth Press. In what was a tough day at the office Knack put together this short vid to capture the shoot. Thanks to the Dead Beat Band for their rocking track!

The Camera Club is a new community-minded bar & gallery concept that’s dedicated to celebrating creativity through camera-based pursuits. Here’s the visions of the Club’s first exhibition opening…
Each quarterly exhibition is zero percent commission (photographers get 100% of sale proceeds) and will feature ten participating photographers – each of them selected by one of the other participants- – resulting in 10 micro-galleries focusing on a single, overriding theme. The bar and pizzeria will soon support each show with items such as photo-inspired pizza boxes, guest photographer menus and exhibition-inspired cocktails. Ultimately, The Camera Club will also include a working photography studio, member library, vintage photo booth and other camera-related inspiration as well.
